Candidate is not allowed to attend any phone call within a month from his/her date of joining. Each candidate is allowed to receive the call only on the prescribed days according to their House.
Food parcels from parents are not encouraged. In case they are sent, the contents of the parcels are checked and shared among the inmates.
Students are not allowed to keep cash with them. No money is to be given to them and no money should be sent directly to the students. Any money found with the students will be confiscated and credited to Social Service League.
Students are expected to write one letter a month. The school office to be intimated (in writing) immediately if there is any change of correspondence address.
Students are not allowed to keep walkman, transistors, electric shavers, cameras, mobiles or other expensive articles with them in the hostels.
Students will have to wear only prescribed clothes for their outfit.
For ordinary ailments parents are not informed. If a student is admitted to the hospital, information is sent to the guardian.
All official correspondence should be addressed to the Manager or to the school office only. However in case of parcels or any kind of tuck for the students, name of the students, Boarding No., Class and House has to be clearly mentioned on top of the item.
Ragging in any form is totally and strictly prohibited. Harassment, thieving, teasing or any form of ill treatment inflicted on juniors or others students will constitute a serious offence and may result in the expulsion of the offender from the school. No fund raising or collection for any purpose is allowed in the school.
Any casuals without permanent Boarding No. encrypted on it will not be allowed.
In the endeavor to maintain a total sense of equality, the school discourage tuck from home hence parents should also refrain from giving tuck to their children.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
All documents presented at the time of admission become the property of the school.
The school day commences with assembly in which all the students have to be present.
All students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. On all school days, the school uniform is to be worn.
Students are allowed to use only Pencil and Fountain Pen.
Students are not allowed to bring magazines, pictures, comics etc. to the school.
Boys should not have more than one inch long hair. The hair should be properly oiled.
Valuable articles should not be brought to the school. No responsibility is taken for the good or money lost.
Day Scholars are not allowed to provide any eatable or any unwanted thing to the boarders, strict disciplinary action can be taken against the offenders.
All should take pride in keeping the school clean. Waste papers or other rubbish is to be thrown in the waste paper basket or bins provided for.
Durga Public School students should observe polite behavior in speech and manner at all times. They should greet their teachers & guest when & wherever they meet them. Bullying and use of un parliamentary language is punishable.
The school reserves to itself the right to expel students whose diligence or progress in studies is unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students.
Parents and Guardians should not visit their wards or teachers in the class room without the permission of the Principal.
School should be intimated well in time about the leave of the student. If it is not done, a fine of Rs. 10/- per student will be charged.
All the students must converse in English, within the class and school premises. English conversation as far as possible, should be encouraged at home also.
